Traverse City, Michigan — Nestled in Traverse City, the Music House Museum is a delightful time capsule of sound, where automated musical instruments from the late 1800s to the 1920s come alive. Visitors can embark on a 90-minute tour, but that’s not all—concerts and silent movies are also on the menu, catering to all ages.

Executive Director Tim Keaton is particularly fond of the museum’s reproducing pianos, which capture the nuances of pianists’ performances, including that of George Gershwin.
