Tonight: Snow, Cold & Windy

The coldest air of the season will start to move in giving us more lake effect snow.

Winds really pick up from the NW/W at 15-30 mph. Gusts 30+ mph at times.

Lows are cold! Dropping to the single digits to mid teens.

Wind chills will be near or below zero for many tonight.

Thursday: Lake Effect & Very Cold

Expecting some slow downs for commutes with more lake effect snow.

We’ll only see highs in the teens to 20 Thursday.

Winds more westerly into Thursday. 15-30 mph. Gusts 30+ mph at times.

Blowing and drifting snow will make for low visibility at times.

Friday: Drier

Friday is looking cold but lake effect begin to wrap up with drier skies.

Better timing for any lingering snow in the AM.

Highs Friday will be in the mid teens to mid 20s.

Winds will start to turn more SW ahead of our next potential system.

The Weekend: Slightly “Warmer”, Watching Another System

Saturday starts dry. Watching another system with the chance for a wintry mix.

Trending more for the evening/overnight hours.

Highs Saturday will range through the 20s to low 30s.

Sunday starts with a chance for a mix. More AM.

Later PM trends a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the lower to upper 30s.

Next Week: “Mild Start” Rain/Snow Chance

Still looking dry to start next Monday. PM chance for some showers.

Highs in the mid 30s to mid 40s.

Lingering snow/mix Tuesday. Better placement north of the bridge. Highs in the 30s.
