TRAVERSE CITY - Those chilly months are upon us and that means people are thinking of warmer ways to shop locally.
That’s no exception for the farmer’s market at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons. Starting November 9th, they’ll be offering their indoor market each week until April featuring over 40 local vendors. The public is welcome to stroll through the commons and see not only the pop up vendors, but the brick and mortar shops too.
“It’s an amazing way to spend your Saturday. You can come visit all of the local vendors that come out to the market every Saturday,” says Kate Angove with the Village at Grand Traverse Commons. “But also a time to visit our boutique shops that are here in the Mercato. Grab a cup of coffee before you get a pastry. You really can enjoy everything the Village has to offer on those Saturday afternoons.”
The market runs from 10am to 2pm in the Mercato of the Grand Traverse Commons.
