Comfort Inn & Suites and MainStay Suites in Gaylord donated $2,300 to Otsego County Animal Shelter this year, totaling $9,800 over four years.
More than 40 animals were rescued from a suspected hoarding case in Northern Michigan, with the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society providing medical care and support.
