Evening/Tonight: Lake Effect Snow Early, Cold
Isolated lake effect snow showers will continue into early tonight.
Better placement for the U.P. and N. Lower downwind of the big lakes with a WNW wind.
Not seeing the snow? Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies.
Lows tonight are cold from the single digits to mid teens.
Winds from the WNW at 5-10 mph.
Late Week: Up & Down Temps, Snow Chances
Overall a drier Thursday AM with a few snow showers lingering for the U.P.
Another burst of snow will be likely Thursday PM. Better placement for the snow into the U.P. & N. Lower. More spotty snow showers for our central counties.
Better accumulations will be for the snowbelts downwind of Lake Superior & MI.
Another 1-4″ by later Thursday night. Nothing too significant. Watch for some low visibility at times if traveling.
Highs Thursday from the mid 20s to mid 30s.
Winds Thursday from the SW at 5-10 mph.
Another system Friday to our north could brush the U.P. with a few mixed showers.
Likely some drier skies with a few rays of sun possible south Friday.
Highs Friday will be warmer from the upper 30s to even some upper 40s near 50!
Winds will stay breezy Friday into Saturday.
Weekend: Colder, Small Snow Chances
Chances at the moment are there for some passing snow showers Saturday.
Highs Saturday are colder from the upper tens to low 30s.
Some spotty lake effect snow possible Sunday as colder air works back in.
Highs Sunday from the mid teens to mid 20s.
Lows Saturday and Sunday night will be bitter cold. More single digits near or below 0.

Sunday into Monday could be interesting. Guidance is trying to bring in a system that could deliver more snow and mixed showers.
Track looks to stay just to our south for now. Expect some updates to this forecast!
