MESICK — The Mesick boys basketball team continued its strong play in conference play with a 78-24 win over Pentwater on Friday. The Bulldogs improve to 9-0 overall and 8-0 in conference play. Mesick will host Big Rapids Crossroads on Wednesday, while Pentwater will be at Baldwin that same night.

BALDWIN – The Baldwin boys basketball team won its fifth straight game with a 74-61 victory over Pentwater in West Michigan D League play Wednesday. With the win, the Panthers stay tied atop the league standings with Brethren at 7-1. Baldwin is on the road Friday at Mason County Eastern while Pentwater (6-3, 3-3) hosts Walkerville.

PENTWATER – Khole Hofmann scored 18 points as the Pentwater boys basketball team posted a 56-43 West Michigan D League win over Manistee Catholic Central on Friday. Manistee Catholic Central (10-7, 10-5) travels to Baldwin on Tuesday while Pentwater (14-2, 13-1) visits Brethren.

BEAR LAKE – The Pentwater girls basketball team registered its first win of the season on Wednesday with 56-39 win over Bear Lake in Western Michigan D League action.
