BIG RAPIDS- Gyasi Mattison was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his two-interception performance on the road against Michigan Tech on Saturday.
Mattison was a key piece in helping limit MTU to only 219 yards of total offense and holding the Huskies to ten points.
Mattison and the top-ranked Bulldogs now prepare for the Anchor-Bone Classic against Grand Valley State on Saturday.
