BIG RAPIDS- Kamryn Shannon garnered Women’s Golfer of the Week honors from the GLIAC Conference for the second time in three weeks after helping the Ferris State Bulldogs to a 5th-place team finish at an Ohio tournament earlier this week.
The senior tied for a first-place overall score through 54 holes of play, and outdueled a Findlay athlete for first place after a six-hole playoff.
Shannon also earned All-Tourney team recognition along with her tournament win. She first earned the honor with a tie for first place and helped the Bulldogs to a 3rd-place team finish at a tournament held on September 22nd-23rd.
The women’s golf team will next be in action at the St. Leo Invitational in Dade City, Florida on Oct. 20 and 21.
