Fan votes count: Riley Greene vies for Hank Aaron Award

DETROIT — After a career-best season, Riley Greene is up for one of the highest honors in the MLB, the Hank Aaron Award.

The honor is given annually to the best overall offensive player in both the American and National Leagues. The Tigers have not had a player take home the honor since Miguel Cabrera won in both 2012 and 2013.

Riley Greene hit for a .258 Average and .806 OPS with 36 home runs and 111 RBIs.
