TRAVERSE CITY- On Thursday, the crosstown rivalry between Traverse City Central and Traverse City West will continue on the soccer field. There is a lot to play for for each team in the game later this week, which has a great cause.
This will be the first Student Support Network game to take place on the soccer field. The SSN seeks to remove any obstacles that create barriers to learning for TCAPS students, and all proceeds from the game will go towards the organization.
Central will be trying to snap a streak dating back over ten years when the Trojans got their last win over the Titans. The last time they were able to simply tie was in 2017. West has 20 wins over its rivals in that span and is confident number 21 is on the way in front of a big crowd.
