Boyne City seeks to ‘finish the job’ from last season

BOYNE CITY- The Boyne City football team had a strong last season, making it all the way to the Division 6 State Semis last year before falling to Lansing Catholic 34-22.

It was quite the rebound from 2023’s season after going 5-5 and not even making it into the playoffs. The scarlet and navy spent the offseason hungry to get back into the postseason this year and do some damage. Head coach Dave Suttle, who is in his sixth year, lost nine seniors to graduation last year but has a solid crew coming back, hoping to go even further in the playoffs this time around.

The Ramblers will travel to Alpena to take on the Wildcats on Friday, August 29th, to begin the new season.
