ENGADINE- Two seasoned and successful football coaches returned to Engadine this season, hoping to get the Eagles’ 8-man team back on track.
60-year-old Howard Hood returns as head coach and 71-year-old Joe Austin will be assisting him on the sidelines.
Austin took the Eagles to the playoffs as head coach from 2013 to 2016, while Hood took the Eagles as head coach from 2017 through 2019.
They both return to try and turn around the Eagles 9-32 record since 2020. Over four decades ago, Austin coached Hood in varsity football. Each hope, by bringing in some old school mentality and energy, the team gets back to winning.
