GRAYLING- Day two of the Ausable River Canoe Marathon time trials continued Thursday. The trials are just a glimpse into what paddlers will experience over the roughly 15-hour overnight trek to reach the final destination of Oscoda.
Wesley Dean and Logan Mynar beat the trials’ top time from last year, posting a 4:45-second sprint today. With over 115 teams in the field this year and the marathon inching closer, we caught up with a pair of rookies on what drew them to their first marathon.
