Q100 Radio’s ‘Pros vs Joes’ race raises support for survivors

GRAYLING- The ‘Pros vs Joe’s’ fundraiser was held at Penrod’s Wednesday to raise money for River House, a shelter for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The fundraiser included a head-to-head race between Jerry Coyne and his coworker and professional paddlers, with Coyne’s team arriving at their destination in 54 minutes. The event was also used to raise awareness about the marathon and its participants, with the official marathon taking place on July 26th.
