BENZONIA - The Benzie central Huskies have named Brian Lark as their next head football coach. Lark takes over as head coach of Benzie, a team that has finished above .500 just once in the last 13 seasons. He has coached in Northern Michigan and has experience as a head coach, leading Forest Area for four years and Inland Lakes for two years. Lark played college football at East Texas Baptist University and has spent years as an assistant coach at Pine River, Elk Rapids, and as a defensive coordinator at Kingsley.
