HARBOR SPRINGS- In Harbor Springs the boys’ and girls’ basketball coaches, John and Amy Flynn confirmed to us Thursday they are no longer with the programs, but it’s not clear why.
The Flynn’s says they’re hoping for some kind of resolution to return.
Both coaches have spent 4 years leading the respective teams, Amy collected an 80-14 record with the girls’ team capturing two district titles, the team was 9-48 in the three years before she took over.
For john on the boys’ side, he led the team to a 60-35 record the past 4 years, capturing a pair of district championships, the Rams were 14-24 in the two seasons prior to him being hired.
The next school board meeting is scheduled for this coming Monday. It’s expected there will be public comment with those unhappy about the Flynn’s not being with the boys’ and girls’ programs.
