BIG RAPIDS - The Ferris State Bulldogs held their annual spring game on Friday with the gold team getting the win. Charlie Spencer led a couple of TD drives for the gold team.
The Bulldogs retired Zach Sieler’s jersey at halftime. Sieler was the first Bulldog to be selected in the NFL draft and this past season was named the Miami Dolphins most valuable player. Sieler talked about the honor of having his jersey retired.
“It’s incredible. Obviously, coming from where I came from, getting here at Ferris, it took me three years to get on the field and to be able to do what I did in the last half of my career here.” Said Sieler. To be able to continue on to the NFL I’ve been so blessed and fortunate, so it’s been a total blessing it’s been awesome to be here see supporters, friends."
