Ferris State names Brett Riley the 6th head coach in Hockey program history

FERRIS STATE- Ferris State University announced Friday that Brett Riley will be the new head hockey coach, following Bob Daniels who retired after 33 seasons at the helm.

It’s just the sixth coach in program history; Riley comes from Long Island University in New York where he was the first coach in the school’s history. He guided them to a 20-12-2 record last year, good enough to earn himself NCAA Independant Hockey Coach of the year accolades.

He was also the first coach for Division 3 Hobart, where he led them to 16 wins in their first year as a program.
