CMU Introduces Arielle Wilson as new volleyball coach

MOUNT PLEASANT - On Tuesday evening Central Michigan introduced Arielle Wilson as the school’s 6th head volleyball coach. Wilson, a midwest native had an incredible playing career at Penn State capturing 4 national championships and being named to the all Big Ten first team and an All American 3 out of the 4 years. CMU will be Wilson’s first career head coaching job, but she’s been an assistant over the past 9 years, most recently with the University of Missouri where she was the defensive and recruiting coordinator. Wilson is excited for her first head coaching opportunity and that it’s so close to home.

“In the Midwest, you get the best volleyball in the world, some of it at least. Then the South has some good volleyball and looking said bring some of that talent up here. And then just making those connections along the way, Like whoever wants to be a chIP, let’s go. But I think part of it is just for the experience and to say that you can play at a high level and these girls really do play at a high level. I’m excited to see our young ladies grow and I’m excited about the future of CMU volleyball,” said Wilson.

The team’s schedule for 2025 has yet to be released.
