Lions top Packers in Green Bay

The Detroit Lions got a rain soaked 24-14 win Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field to improve to 7-1 and stay on top of the NFC North.

Detroit found themselves in an early 3-0 deficit but scored 24 unanswered points, including a pick six from Kerby Joseph and held the lead going into halftime.

The Detroit defense held Green Bay out of the endzone until the fourth quarter.

The win also marked Detroit’s third consecutive win at Lambeau Field, a feat they haven’t accomplished since the late 80s and early 90s.

The Lions are back on the road next Sunday to face the Houston Texans in a Sunday night game.

Green Bay has a bye week.
