TRAVERSE CITY — Ollie’s Bargain Outlet celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Traverse City.
The new location opened on March 18 at 3200 S. Airport Road in the Grand Traverse Mall.
The national retailer specializes in discounted brand-name merchandise across several departments, including books, food, flooring, electronics, toys, housewares, pet supplies, and health and beauty products.
According to the company, its inventory includes brand-name closeouts offered at up to 70% off regular retail prices.
The opening is expected to bring new jobs to the Traverse City area, including cashier and assistant manager positions. The company currently employs more than 12,000 people across 609 stores in 34 states.
Store hours are typically 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday (standard for many locations, check local listing).
Ollie’s does not offer online shopping; you must visit the store to purchase items.
The store accepts cash, major credit cards, and Apple/Google Pay, but does not accept SNAP/EBT.
