TRAVERSE CITY — The Great Lakes Children’s Museum is doubling its spring break programming by expanding into two locations to meet growing demand.

Families are invited to the Curiosity Place Satellite Site at the Grand Traverse Mall for an interactive galactic adventure. The hands-on experience runs from March 27 through April 4 at the mall.

Admission for the spring break experience is $12 per person. One admission grants visitors access to both Curiosity Place and the Curiosity Place Satellite Site.

“spring break is the busiest week of the year for the Children’s Museum,” Jordan Shell, membership and development coordinator, said. “We’re thrilled to be able to invite more visitors to build, experiment, and ask big questions in the hopes of spreading the joy of STEM learning to a larger audience.”

The Satellite Site features activities focused on beginner astronomy and creative building. Families can also visit the Shipwreck at Curiosity Bay exhibit at Curiosity Place to learn about maritime exploration and Great Lakes history.

The Great Lakes Children’s Museum has provided interactive educational environments in Northern Michigan for 25 years.

The Satellite Site is located along the main concourse of the Grand Traverse Mall, 3200 W. South Airport Road, Ste 420.
