BENZIE COUNTY — A 46-year-old Interlochen woman was arrested March 5 after a Michigan State Police investigation into the creation and possession of child sexually abusive material.
Nacole Gross is charged with aggravated child sexually abusive activity and aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
The investigation by the Michigan State Police Traverse City Post began Feb. 9. Preliminary findings indicated that the suspect allegedly produced and possessed the unlawful material. Gross was arrested on March 5.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit issued a recommendation for parents to discuss safe internet practices with their children. Officials suggested using resources provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to help maintain online safety for minors.
