Daughtry joins 100th National Cherry Festival lineup

TRAVERSE CITY — Rock band Daughtry is scheduled to perform at the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage on July 9, 2026, as part of the 100th National Cherry Festival.

The concert in Traverse City, Mich., will be part of the festival’s centennial celebration.

The 2026 National Cherry Festival marks 100 years of honoring Northern Michigan’s cherry industry and community traditions. The festival, which takes place along the shores of West Grand Traverse Bay, features the multi-platinum rock group as it continues to celebrate its long-standing history in the region.

Tickets for the concert go on sale next week. General admission is $58, and premium reserved seating costs between $62 and $90 depending on the specific seat location. A VIP experience on the GT Band EDC VIP Deck is also available for $183. Purchases can be made through the festival’s official website.

Daughtry has been recognized as one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century. Their self-titled debut was the fastest-selling rock debut in SoundScan history, producing four Top 20 hits including the singles “Home” and “It’s Not Over.” The band has earned multiple Grammy, American Music and Billboard Music Awards.

Kat Paye is the executive director of the National Cherry Festival. She noted the popularity of rock music in the region when announcing the addition to the festival lineup. “We’re thrilled to welcome Daughtry to the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage during our 100th Festival,” Paye said. “Rock has always had a strong following in Northern Michigan and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate 100 years than with a night of powerhouse vocals and nonstop energy.”

The Pepsi Bayside Music Stage is presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and 910 Media Group. The venue receives further support from Jim Beam and 97.5 WKLT Radio. The stage is located along West Grand Traverse Bay and serves as a primary venue for summer concerts in the area.

Tickets for the July 9 performance will be available for purchase starting at 9 a.m. on March 13 at cherryfestival.org.
