GRAND RAPIDS — Broadway Grand Rapids announced its 2026-27 season Thursday, revealing a lineup of seven productions that includes the Michigan premiere of “Death Becomes Her.”
The upcoming season begins with “Hell’s Kitchen,” a new musical created by 17-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys.
The show is the first of seven shows scheduled for the Broadway Grand Rapids stage.
The lineup includes “The Notebook,” a new musical based on the 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks. The production follows the story that inspired the 2004 film of the same name. The 2026-2027 season also features “Maybe Happy Ending.”
The show earned the 2025 Tony Award for Best Musical. In addition to the modern productions, Broadway Grand Rapids included two long-running stage classics. Both “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Phantom of the Opera” are part of the seven-show series.
