TRAVERSE CITY - The Home Builders Association of Northwest Michigan will host the 2026 Traverse City Home Expo on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15. The event will take place at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa in Acme and will feature more than 140 exhibitors.
The two-day expo is one of the largest home-focused events in Northern Michigan. It aims to connect local homeowners directly with professionals specializing in home building, design and remodeling.
The event features expert-led seminars including a panel discussion specifically for people considering building a new home or beginning a remodeling project. It occupies the entire lower level of the resort and offers visitors the chance to compare services and gather inspiration for projects of all sizes.
Organizers say the expo is open to homeowners at any stage of their projects. This includes individuals planning a major renovation, building from scratch or simply looking for future ideas. Exhibitors will showcase the latest developments in home building, remodeling, energy efficiency, outdoor living and home technology.
Lauren Tucker serves as the CEO of the Home Builders Association of Northwest Michigan. She explained that the event is designed to be both practical and inspiring for the local community.
“The Home Expo allows attendees to explore new ideas and meet industry experts all in one place,” Tucker said. She emphasized the personal nature of home projects and the importance of finding the right professional.
“When you’re dealing with your home, it is a very intimate experience,” Tucker said. “And that relationship with your builder is so very important. And it’s important to get to know the people and make sure you’re choosing someone that really aligns with what you’re looking for.”
The 2026 Traverse City Home Expo is open Saturday, Feb. 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
