MANISTEE — Little River Casino Resort is undergoing a series of renovations to its gaming floor and dining facilities, with the project slated for full completion in early April 2026.
The resort, located in northern Michigan, is an enterprise of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. The ongoing enhancements include updated décor, improved lighting and expanded gaming options across the facility.
One of the highlights of the project is the Heron restaurant, which is now open to the public. The venue offers an upscale dining experience with elegant décor and a menu focused on local flavors.
The resort has also finished work on its revamped Sportsbook area. The space was designed to provide a stylish environment for live sports betting and viewing live action.
Renovations on the main gaming floor have reached the 75% completion mark. This area now showcases updated décor, improved lighting and an advanced sound system intended to create a dynamic atmosphere. Guests currently have access to an expanded selection of slot machines.
Michael Schrader serves as the general manager of Little River Casino Resort. “We are dedicated to providing our guests with exceptional experiences at every turn,” Schrader said regarding the ongoing enhancements.
A new smoking gaming area is also under construction as part of the facility upgrades. The space will feature popular slot machines for visitors seeking a tailored gaming environment.
Full completion of the renovations is expected in the first part of April 2026. The new smoking gaming area is scheduled to open at that time.
