ANTRIM COUNTY — A Central Lake Township man is facing several charges, including two felonies, after sheriff’s deputies said they found drugs in his car during a traffic stop on North Eckhardt Road.
According to the Antrim County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled Joseph Juracko over on Feb. 2 on suspicion of drug activity. They said they found out Juracko’s driver’s license had been revoked and his vehicle was not insured. A K-9 was brought in. The dog sniffed out drugs inside the vehicle. Deputies said they also found a .45 caliber handgun and ammunition in the car.
They also searched Juracko’s home where they said they found 11,475 rounds of ammunition, 11 firearms and 21.7 grams of methamphetamine.
Juracko was arraigned Feb. 5 and was charged with Delivery/Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Maintaining a Drug House, Motor Vehicle Operating Without Security and Operating While License Suspended/Revoked/Denied.
