Warm up this winter with WildFlour Bakery’s beverage and pastry selections

CADILLAC — WildFlour Bakery is highlighting its seasonal menu of warm specialty drinks and fresh house-made pastries as local temperatures drop. The bakery is featuring unique beverage options, including the tiramisu tea latte and the Cadillac Fog, alongside its daily selection of quiches and pot pies.

The community-focused bakery provides a variety of coffee and tea options designed for the winter season. In addition to its beverage program, the shop maintains a rotating inventory of baked goods, including gluten-free items and daily-made cannolis.

Hailey Novak, a Bobarista of WildFlour Bakery, said the shop aims to provide a welcoming experience for everyone who enters. “We’re a very tight knit group and we’re here to make good drinks, good food and great company,” Hailey said. The bakery offers a rotating selection of coffee, tea and pastries.

The food menu includes fresh quiches and seasonal pot pies made daily. Chef Heather Goodman, the co-founder of WildFlour, is a lifelong baker and honed in on her craft at the International Culinary Center in California. She has also worked with internationally renowned Pastry and Chocolatier Chef Amaury Guichon in Las Vegas.

Hailey Novak noted that the bakery also provides gluten-free options that change on a daily basis to accommodate different dietary needs.

The bakery’s pastry case features fresh cannolis made every day alongside cookies and muffins. Seasonal offerings include marble loaf and peanut butter chocolate muffins. Hailey recommended pairing these sweets with a cup of coffee during the colder months.

The beverage menu features specialty combinations like the tiramisu tea latte, which has become a popular choice this year. The drink consists of coffee-infused black tea mixed with a tiramisu milk tea powder. Hailey described the drink as a combination that creates a chocolaty flavor.

Another featured warm drink is the Cadillac Fog, made with Earl Gray tea and lavender non-dairy milk powder. Hailey explained the flavor profile of the tea blend. “Together, it’s not super floral,” Hailey said. “It’s not super strong with the Earl Gray, but together it makes a beautiful, harmonious mix that really warms up the soul.”

To ensure consistent flavor, the bakery uses a blending and steaming process for its tea drinks. Hailey noted that for iced versions, staff may use two tea packs to maintain the flavor strength against the ice. The staff also provides guidance to customers regarding the health benefits of different tea selections.

WildFlour Bakery is currently booking reservations for its new event space next door. The business posts information about daily specials and weekly events on its Instagram and Facebook pages.
