MECOSTA COUNTY — Deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle injury crash Saturday on 8 Mile Rd near 170th Ave.
The investigation revealed that a 49-year-old female from Stanwood was attempting to pull into a driveway when her vehicle became stuck on the ice.
A 56-year-old male driver from Fremont, traveling westbound, collided with her vehicle.

Both the Stanwood female and a 61-year-old female passenger from Fremont were transported to the hospital with minor non-life-threatening injuries.
The Fremont male driver complained of injury but was released at the scene and not transported to a hospital.
