TRAVERSE CITY — Store closure sales are on at Value City Furniture in Traverse City after its parent company announced plans to close all remaining store locations.
American Signature Inc. said it is winding down operations and permanently closing all remaining American Signature Furniture and Value City Furniture locations after beginning a court-supervised process in November 2025 to facilitate a sale.
Value City Furniture in Traverse City, located at 1775 Oak Hollow Drive, is currently holding going out of business sales as the parent company so it’s best to visit soon for significant discounts on their furniture inventory before they close permanently.
The parent company said store closing sales are underway at remaining locations and will continue while inventory lasts. The company said all sales are final at all locations and returns and exchanges are not accepted.
American Signature said it is doing its best to fulfill customer orders for products that are currently in stock. Customers can track their order status through the company’s order status link.
If the company is unable to fulfill an order for which a customer placed a deposit, the customer may be able to file a claim through the case website.
The company said it is not offering refunds at this time, including for deposits if an item is no longer available. Customers with financed purchases should continue to make payments as usual, it said.
American Signature said it is continuing to offer extended warranties on new purchases at this time. The company said it is no longer accepting gift cards at any of its locations.
