TRAVERSE CITY — The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform at the National Cherry Festival on July 3 & 4, 2027, in Traverse City, Michigan.
The announcement was made at the International Council of Air Shows Conference in Las Vegas, where the Blue Angels unveiled their schedules for the next two years.

“We look forward to welcoming the Blue Angels back to Traverse City in 2027,” said Kat Paye, Executive Director of the National Cherry Festival.
The Blue Angels have a longstanding connection with the National Cherry Festival, dating back to 1988, and their return in 2027 continues this tradition.
Festival officials also announced that the Air Combat Command F-16 Viper Demo Team will perform at the 100th National Cherry Festival on July 4 and 5, 2026.
The 100th National Cherry Festival will take place from July 4-11, 2026, and is expected to feature a series of exciting aerial performances.
Each year, the Festival applies for jet teams through the United States Department of Defense Form 2535, making these selections a significant achievement.
The Festival will begin the application process for the 2028 airshow season in the coming months.
The Blue Angels’ performance in 2027 is anticipated to be a highlight of the National Cherry Festival, reinforcing its reputation as a premier destination for world-class aerial showcases.
