Court appearances postponed until Jan. 13 for defendants in Rebecca Park case

WEXFORD COUNTY — Expected court appearances for several defendants connected to the Rebecca Park murder case have been postponed.

As of the morning of Dec. 9, both Cortney and Bradly Bartholomew’s court appearances had been delayed 30 days.

According to an update at 2:20 p.m. Dec. 9, they are both now scheduled for a court appearance on Jan. 13, 2026.

At a Dec. 2 arraignment at the Wexford County Courthouse, Cortney Bartholomew was charged with the following counts:

  • One count of first-degree murder – premeditated
  • One count of felony murder
  • One count of torture
  • One count of conspiracy to commit torture
  • One count of assault on a pregnant individual, intentionally causing miscarriage/stillbirth
  • One count of conspiracy to commit assault on a pregnant individual, intentionally causing miscarriage/stillbirth
  • One count of unlawful imprisonment
  • One count of removing dead bodies without a medical examiner’s permission.

At a Dec. 2 arraignment, Bradly Bartholomew, Cortney’s husband, was charged with the following counts:

  • One count of first-degree murder – premeditated
  • One count of felony murder
  • One count of torture
  • One count of conspiracy to commit torture
  • One count of assault on a pregnant individual, intentionally causing miscarriage/stillbirth
  • One count of conspiracy to commit assault on a pregnant individual, intentionally causing miscarriage/stillbirth
  • One count of unlawful imprisonment
  • One count of removing dead bodies without a medical examiner’s permission

Kimberly Park’s court appearance has also been rescheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Kimberly, Rebecca’s sister, was initially arraigned on charges of lying to police during a violent crime investigation, tampering with evidence and falsely reporting a felony. The felony complaint stated she provided misleading information and later filed a false claim accusing a detective of assault.
