WEXFORD COUNTY — Deputies from the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a deadly, two-vehicle accident.
According to an Oct. 27 news release, deputies said the crash happened Sunday shortly before 11:30 a.m. on M-37 near the intersection of W. 10 1/2 Road. They say a car driving northbound crossed the center line and hit a semi-truck head-on. The driver of the car died at the scene.
The semi driver was taken by ambulance to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City with non-life-threatening injuries. The road was closed for several hours following the crash.
