MACKINAW CITY — Four people are in custody after a high-speed chase Friday night that began in Mackinaw City and stretched into Emmet County.
Police said two suspects tried to steal a vehicle from a home around 8:30 p.m., then fled in a black Chevrolet Suburban that was reported stolen from Mackinaw City.
An officer spotted the SUV and tried to pull it over, but the driver sped off, reaching speeds over 100 miles per hour before leaving the vehicle in a parking lot and running.

A search involving multiple agencies and K-9 units began.
All four suspects were arrested within four hours.
Suspects names are not being released at this time.
All four face multiple charges.
