Annual CherryT Ball Drop to benefit students facing food insecurity

TRAVERSE CITY — The annual CherryT Ball Drop will return to downtown Traverse City on December 31, 2025, benefiting the North Ed Foundation.

The beloved New Year’s Eve tradition will feature live entertainment and the iconic drop of the illuminated cherry at midnight.

The North Ed Foundation is an organization that supports students who struggle with food insecurity through initiatives like their Student Emergency Relief Fund (SERF). SERF provides food, clothing and basic medical care to students in need.
