ROSCOMMON COUNTY — Early Saturday morning, a 33-year-old woman in Denton Township awoke to find an intruder in her home.
According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect, who was not wearing pants, had defecated in a trash can and smeared feces on furniture before leaving.
Deputies, along with Richfield Township officers, responded to the scene. They said a 41-year-old Prudenville man matching the suspect’s description was found nearby and arrested.

They also said he was intoxicated and had entered the home through a broken window screen.
The suspect had been inside for over four hours. His name is withheld pending arraignment.
