DETROIT — The East Jordan Shoe Club was invited to Detroit for a special opportunity to design a cleat for the NFL ‘My Cause My Cleats’ Game.
Lion’s football wide receiver Amon Ra St. Brown and the St. Brown Foundation invited the club down to meet St. Brown and design a cleat. St. Brown voted for his favorite which will be incorporated into the shoe he wears during the game. The winning team also won tickets to the game to see their cleats in action.
9&10 News previously interviewed The East Jordan Shoe Club, where student, Able Tall, expressed how his dream would be to meet Amon Ra St. Brown.
Tall was able to meet St. Brown, and 9&10 News was the exclusive station there to document this once-in-a-lifetime event for the whole club.
