CADILLAC — A portion of Mitchell Street will be closed Saturday as downtown Cadillac hosts its third annual Summer Block Party.
The free community event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and promises activities for all ages, including raffles, games and a dance party. Local businesses will offer food, and many downtown retailers are planning sidewalk sales.
“It’s a good way to start seeing all the fall items that are coming in for the clothing stores,” one organizer said. “Everybody gets together and we work together to bring the community in to enjoy our little downtown.”
