Crafting with Katy: Upcycled Lampshade

I show you how to create a picnic food cover from an old lampshade. The process involves using tulle or screen, hot glue, a box cutter, scissors, a cabinet knob, ribbon, and clothespins. Begin by removing the fabric from the lampshade and cleaning it. The tulle is centered on the frame and secured with clothespins. Hot glue the tulle to the frame, trim the excess material, and attach a handle. I used ribbon to cover the hot glue. Now you have a bug-free food cover ready for your next picnic.
