CLARE COUNTY — Two people have been charged with child abuse after the Clare County Sheriff said they left a 5-year-old and a dog inside of a hot car.
The incident was reported to dispatch Wednesday afternoon.
The windows on the truck were down just a few inches, but the responding deputies noted that it was much hotter inside than outside and the child and dog seemed distressed.

Both of them were taken out of the car to cool off outside.
Neither the child, nor the dog were injured, but the kid’s mom, Natasha Garcia and her Boyfriend, Nathan Crandell are facing charges.
