GARFIELD TOWNSHIP — A 64-year-old Traverse City woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday evening following a stabbing at an apartment complex in Garfield Township, according to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office.
Per a July 23 news release, deputies and detectives responded to the complex at 6:31 p.m. July 22 after the woman called 911 to report the incident. She was transported to Munson Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives investigated the scene through the early morning hours and said the case remains under investigation. Authorities added that there is no threat to public safety at this time.
