MANISTEE — Heavy rainfall on the evening of July 16 led to flooding at Century Terrace Apartments, prompting the evacuation of 10 residents from eight lower-level units, according to the Manistee Fire Department.
Per a July 17 news release, crews responded to an automatic fire alarm at the complex, located at 237 Sixth Ave., and discovered water had inundated both the lower and first floors of the building.
