I’m crafting a custom quilted dog bed. I begin by sketching the dimensions, using four-inch squares arranged in a grid of nine by seven, totaling 126 squares for the top and bottom. An additional 32 squares are needed for the pillow’s height, making 158 squares in total. After ironing and cutting the squares, I sewed them together, sandwiching the batting between the quilt and white fabric. I cut the foam to size. Adhesive spray is used to bond the foam, and the quilt cover is sewn together to complete the project.
