ANTRIM COUNTY— The Antrim County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a fugitive who fled from deputies after crashing a stolen vehicle Sunday evening.

According to a June 23 news release from the sheriff’s office, Kenneth James Macquarrie, 33, is wanted for fleeing and eluding police, driving on a suspended license, leaving the scene of a traffic crash, and unlawful driving away of an automobile, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said Macquarrie was driving a stolen silver 2013 GMC Sierra when he ran from a traffic stop around 6:27 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Shanty Creek Road and Curfman Road. The vehicle crashed into trees, and Macquarrie fled the scene on foot.
Macquarrie is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
