CHEBOYGAN — A 29-year-old Cheboygan resident was injured in a traffic accident involving an E-Bicycle and a vehicle.
The accident occurred at 8:33 PM on June 1 on Lincoln Avenue when the E-Bicycle rider turned south in front of a vehicle traveling westbound on Lincoln Avenue.
The Cheboygan Police Department responded to the scene and noted that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident. The investigation remains open and active.
The police department thanked the Cheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, the Michigan State Police, and the Cheboygan Fire Department for their assistance during the investigation.
