TRAVERSE CITY — The Cherry Capital Cycling Club (CCCC) has donated $6,800 to Norte to purchase 32 balance bikes for young children.

According to a June 2 news release, the donation will allow Norte to acquire pedal-free bikes designed for children ages 4-5, helping them learn to ride
At the check presentation, Norte Director of Development Jill Prior was joined by Eastern Elementary teacher Sara Roeder, volunteer Abbey Kaufman, CCCC President Jim Pecott, Vice President Rick Venner, and Membership Director Paula Anderson.
The donation from CCCC is expected to enhance Norte’s efforts in promoting cycling among young children, providing them with the necessary tools to develop their riding skills.
