BEULAH — Benzie Bus is resuming its Bike-n-Ride program in time for Bike to Work Day on May 16.
According to a May 9 news release, the program allows riders to travel by bus and bike, combining cycling and public transportation for a more flexible, fun, and eco-friendly way to travel around Benzie County.

There is no extra fee for bringing a bike on the bus, and all buses are equipped with easy-to-use bike racks.
Benzie Bus is promoting clean transportation and active lifestyles, and invites the community to celebrate Bike to Work Day by choosing two wheels or combining biking with the bus.
“We’re thrilled to bring back Bike-n-Ride for the summer season,” said Jessica Carland, Executive Director of Benzie Bus. “This service gives people more freedom to enjoy the outdoors and embrace healthier, greener travel options.”
Bike to Work Day 2025 Benzie Bus invites the community to celebrate Bike to Work Day by choosing two wheels — or combining biking with the bus — for their commute on Friday, May 16! Riders can hop on the bus with their bikes at no extra cost and be part of a nationwide movement promoting clean transportation and active lifestyles.
