GAYLORD — State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, arrested Jason Ryan Brown, 43, of Gaylord, for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer to commit a crime.
According to a May 2 MSP news release, Brown was arrested after an investigation request from the Michigan Department of Corrections. During an examination of seized devices, child sexually abusive material was discovered on Brown’s cell phone.
Brown was charged with five counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, one count of possession of child sexually abusive material and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Brown was arraigned in the 87-A Judicial District Court on Monday, April 28.
