Welcome the season with some spring cleaning

with Dr. Shafer Stedronova

Spring cleaning is not only a great way to reclaim your space but has been proven to also boost your health by reducing stress, anxiety, helping with allergies, boosting productivity and creativity within an organized, controlled environment.

Why should we commit to spring cleaning?

When we think spring we think Growth, and personal growth can be hindered when we feel stressed and overwhelmed, which can happen with clutter. When our surroundings are constantly reminding us of things we need to do or things we didn’t do that causes us to feel shame and blame ourselves for not having completed those tasks already, this is not a set up for success.

So when we are feeling that urge to tidy, it’s a great idea to commit some time and energy to getting rid of things you no longer need, making donations to community organizations of appropriate items, and clearing your environment to make room for new ideas and growth. We know that creativity is positively impacted by having less clutter and distractions in our environment.
